DAFS  has been providing  Airspace and Air Attack Management (Birddog) aerial services as well as Aerial Fire Surveillance (Fire Detection) aerial services in support of the Province of Ontario 's Forest Fire Management Program since 1988. The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resource — mandated to protect the people and economy of Northern Ontario —is currently using our specialized  air attack  and detection aircraft  in its battle against dangerous wildfires.
